wow..looking great. The lines are very thin. Are you using Photoshop with pencil size at 2px at 3000 x1688px and then resize to 1280x720?Line art really takes time, not to mention adding colour.Thats why I just paint over my sketch for each frame.
well, effect almost the same if you are using PS with penicl tool at 3000 1688 or flash with pencil tool 1.0 and same resolution - i used flash - (made the lineart and color) and added additional effects in photoshop*
Wow..you use Flash for colouring?but Photoshop looks way better.BTW,do you sketch your characters, draw line art then colour when working on each frame for your animation or you draw your characters in lineart while animating?I usually colour over my sketch with the pencil tool in photoshop.I decided to try lineart first before colouring and I must admit, filling with the bucket tool is so fast for colouring and shading.Kinda confused with which workflow is faster.Drawing the lineart is time consuming though. I watched a tutorial where KL draws with the pencil tool with lineart for the frames without sketching first on youtube.I find that problematic. The character may have proportion problems because you have to zoom in to draw so the lines can be smooth.
KL is some kind of genious so he do it without a sketch... i do sketch in one layer, after i am sure with it, i make lineart on a new layer, and then i color it, deleting the ''sketch'' layer bucket tool of coure to fill the objects
I did ask KL and he mentioned he uses sketch for the keyframes.I suspected that, cause it would have been weird to draw lineart just like that. The characters will look wierd in terms of proportion..in short something will always seem off.
2 hours, because i will start learning how to do bg's in some days xD this bg is ripped from anime, and as always with a bunch of effects on it thanks! lineart is going pretty fast for the last two months
yea, agreed, this is the best panel not only of this week xD thank you! and by the way, you can include it in your usual ''art-pack of images'' on the forums, even if already posted it that motivates me to do more
What you should do is edit the post to add your dA url so that people can look at the rest of your gallery and people get more awareness of your art- that's why I always add links to the people's profiles when I make a post there. So people can see the great galleries of the artists!
